Hi guys. My name is Naomi and I am addicted to the colour mustard (I quite like the condiment too).
If you’ve been following me on Instagram you’ll know this for yourself, as it’s featured in almost every outfit I wear these days. I’m even starting to sicken myself with it. 😂
got this wee mustard slip dress for Christmas from Topshop and I’ve got so much wear out of it since. It looks great dressed up for a night out, or like this over a t-shirt and a denim jacket for a causal look.
One of my top tips for anyone shopping without an never-ending budget is to think of three ways you can wear something before buying it. I love buying clothes that I know will make more than one outfit. The key is to layer. 👌
Yellow is set to be what millennial pink and red was in 2017. Well it’s time to ditch the rosey hues and move over to the yellow side. It is the colour of happiness, creativity and new life, what’s not to love? When Spring eventually makes its way into our lives, yellow is always a fabulous colour to kick start any new season.
These mustard culottes were a great find the Topshop sale recently. Again I know I can wear them with sock boots for a night out, or with a t-shirt and converse for a relaxed, casual look.
If you’re too scared to try the trend, why not get a handbag in the beautiful colour and add it into your wardrobe gradually? A bright coloured handbag can really complete an outfit.
Don’t be afraid to experiment with colour. Fashion is supposed to be fun! If we are destined for drab, grey skies for the next few weeks, there’s even more reason for adding some sunshine into your daily look.
Do you guys love the colour as much as me? Let me know in the comments if you’ve seen any great finds recently.
As always, thanks so much for reading and I’ll be back soon with my February favourites post.
