One outfit: 3 different looks

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, the weather was beautiful, I loved getting outside and enjoying it. Good weather really does work wonders for the mind, as well as the skin.

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen on my Insta-story recently that DV8 sent me a lovely package. They contacted me a few weeks ago to collaborate, and of course I jumped at the chance. This is my first collaboration as a blogger, and I am so excited to be doing it.

I’m from a small town called Limavady in the north of Ireland, and DV8 is the only high street store we have in our town (I did say it was small lol). I have always loved shopping in DV8, due to their large range of stock, and no matter what the occasion, I can always pop down and pick up something.

When I was allowed to pick what I wanted from their website, I really found it difficult, they have so much lovely summer stuff in at the minute. I picked this beautiful red floral print playsuit. This red floral print is every where at the minute and I love it.

Because I have already started planning my own summer holidays, and what outfits I could wear, I thought I would do a blog post about how you could take one item of clothing, and wear it three different ways.

This is perfect if you only have small luggage and don’t want to take up too much room, or you’re going on a busy holiday, where you might want to wear something from day into night.

I’m going to Las Vegas at the end of August, and I really don’t want to pack too much because so many people have told me how good the shopping is over there. I also know we are going to be sight seeing during the day, as well as gambling our life savings away in a casino at night (just kidding, kind of), so I will want to take things with me that are completely versatile.

The Day Time Look

This playsuit would be the perfect little outfit to go sightseeing in. It is super light weight, so it’s perfect for hot weather. The cold shoulder straps actually stay down, so it’s comfortable and the little spaghetti straps are great as it keeps everything sitting right.

I teamed it with silver slide on loafers I picked up in Primark last month for £3, and because unfortunately we don’t always get the greatest weather in Ireland, I also threw on my trusty vintage Levi’s jacket. Denim and floral print is up there with my top 5 looks ever!!

The Festival Look

It is festival season, and as soon as I saw this beautiful little playsuit, I knew you could really dress it up with accessories and make it perfect for a festival. The red goes so nicely with the black and silver details, but would look equally as nice with a tan fringed waistcoat as well.

I bought the hat, belt, waistcoat and necklace whenever I lived in Australia last year, and I doubt they would still be available. But my western boots are from Next, and I am pretty sure they are in the sale now.

Too Glam to Give a Damn Look

This playsuit would be that perfect outfit where you could wear it all day with flats, and come into the hotel room in the evening, pull on a pair of heels and change the bag and you would be set for a night out.

The shorts aren’t too short, so you don’t feel overly exposed. I hate when shorts ride right up your ass and you’re constantly fixing them all day. These are nice and loose around the thighs so you won’t feel uncomfortable.

My heels are from Primark again and were only £10. I have been picking up so many bargains in there recently. My bag is Guess, and was a present from my Mammy last year, so I doubt it’s still available.

So there you have it; one outfit, styled in three different ways giving you the most wear out of you’re beautiful clothes.

You can find the playsuit here on DV8’s website. It’s only £29.99, and comes in sizes 8-14. I am normally a size 8 and this was completely true to size. They also have loads of other beautiful bits and pieces in for summer time, so have a nosey while your on their website.

As always, thanks so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post, leave me a comment if you would have styled it differently.

Much love, x
